Apple had recently formed AKI Group and handed over its command to Yang and he was reporting to the Senior Vice President of the company’s Machine Learning and AI Strategy department. Before his promotion, Yang was leading AKI’s search department. After the promotion, Yang’s team was given the responsibility of making Siri as functional as ChatGPT. Meta is hiring heavily
