New Delhi, January 23New Delhi-based short film ‘Anuja’ has been nominated for the Live Action Short category at the 97th Academy Awards. Adam J. Directed by Graves and Suchitra Matai, ‘Anuja’ will compete with ‘A Lean’, ‘I’m Not A Robot’, ‘The Last Ranger’ and ‘The Man Who Not Silent’ for the Oscar award. The nominations for the 2025 Oscars, which were postponed twice earlier this month due to wildfires in Los Angeles, were announced by Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennot. Two-time Oscar-winning producer Gunita Monga is the executive producer of the short film ‘Anuja’ and Hollywood star-writer Mindy Kaling is the producer. The film has Sajda Pathan and Ananya Shanbhag in lead roles. This year’s Academy Awards will be held on March 2 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. -News-Patiala
