NEET AND 2025: National Testing Agency has released a notification regarding NEET UG 2025. While applying for NEET UG, students should use their Aadhaar card and APAAR ID for authentication, the agency said. NTA has released this notice on its website neet.nta.ac.in. NTA will soon release the application form filling dates for NEET UG 2025.
The decision to link NEET UG 2025 with Apaar ID has been taken following the directives of the Ministry of Education. This step has been taken to ensure transparency and authenticity in the examination process.
Get your Aadhaar card updated
NTA has advised the students applying for NEET UG to update their Aadhaar card as per the information given in the 10th mark sheet/certificate. Candidate’s name, date of birth and other information on the Aadhaar card should be the same as shown on the 10th mark sheet/certificate. It is also necessary to link the Aadhaar card with a valid mobile number. So that the OTP verification process can be done easily.
NEET UG 2025 : Why is Aadhaar Card Important?
NTA has explained why Aadhaar card is essential in NEET UG 2025. The agency has given five reasons for this-
Easy application process: NTA says that using Aadhaar card helps in automatic filling of information. Due to which you have to fill less information while applying.
Enhancement of examination process: With the development in Aadhaar-based technology, the identity of candidates can be verified quickly and securely through UIDAI’s face authentication, the agency said.
Instant Attendance Verification: Candidates’ faces are instantly recognized as soon as they enter the exam hall.
Candidate welfare: The agency says Aadhaar card simplifies the verification process. This ensures that candidates are uniquely identified. So that his interests can be protected during the examination life cycle.
