Apple iOS 18.4 Update: Apple has officially confirmed that the update of iOS 18.4 and iPados 18.4 will be released in April. In this new update, many new features will be added for iPhone and iPad users. Its first beta version has already been available for developers and public testers, but there will be some necessary changes in the final version, especially a new section for food lovers, improving notifications and improving music experiences.
Apple News+ Food
For your information, let us know that a main feature of this new iOS 18.4 update is Apple News+ Food which has been added as a special section inside the Apple News app. This section will be available especially for Apple News+ Subscribers and will include thousands of recipes of top food publishers like Bon Apple, Food & Wine, and Allrachipes.
But this will not be limited to the recipe only, but it will also be given news related to restaurants, healthy eating tips, kitchen essentials and other necessary information. Apple has given options to browse, search and filter to make it easier for users. Apart from this, a “cook mode” has also been added so that users can see any recipe in full-screen mode and can easily follow. The option to save the favorite recipe offline has also been given.
Priority Notifications
Another important feature in iOS 18.4 has been added “Priority Notifications” which will prefer the most important notifications on the lock screen using Apple Intelligence. However, this feature will be available only for the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 16 series.
Ambient music feature in control center
The Ambient Music feature has been added to the iOS 18.4 for music lovers, which can be accessed from the Control Center. It will be in four different categories in which Sleep, Chill, Productivity and Wellbeing allow the curated playlist to run quickly.
New sketch drawing style
Apple has made Apple Intelligence available in more languages in this update which includes French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese languages. In addition, a new drawing style of “sketch” has been added to the image playground feature that will be available with already existing “Animation” and “Illustration” styles. This feature allows users to generate images on the basis of text description.
