How many seats will be admitted?
Dr. Ambedkar Center of Excellence has limited seats available. SC and OBC students can apply for this. For this offline exam will also be given. Apart from this, there will also be a personal interview. DACE program is for economically backward Scheduled Caste (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates.
How many seats are there for UPSC and UPPSC
100 seats are available for free coaching for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) preparation. Similarly, there are similar seats for the State Public Service Exam (SPSC). SC/OBC candidates can prepare here for 12 months.
What are the other rules?
Only those candidates will get admission in UPSC and UPPSC free coaching whose annual family income is not more than Rs.8 lakh. Candidates taking admission in DACE-BHU Civil Services Coaching will not be eligible to take admission in any other course. Aadhaar card is also essential.
30 percent seats for girls…
30 percent seats in DACE-BHU Civil Services Coaching are reserved for women candidates. The number of students in this free coaching scheme should be minimum 50 and maximum 100. Admission can be given only in so many seats. In this too, 70 percent of the seats will be given to scheduled caste students.
Exemption may be given if SC category seats are not filled. However, there is also a condition that in no case, the number of SC category students should not be less than 50%. Apart from this, 30 percent of SC and OBC category seats will be reserved for women candidates. If there are not sufficient number of female candidates in any category, male candidates of the same category will be selected by DAF.
