The city police arrested a person with illegal liquor and recovered a large quantity of liquor from him. SHO City Amandeep Nahar said that the police had received information that the said person had taken a house on rent to sell illegal liquor and was bringing it here and keeping liquor. Taking action against this, the police along with the Excise Department team have recovered 27 boxes of liquor from the spot. The arrested accused has been identified as Prince Suri son of Amrit Lal resident of Kathira Chowk.
