The Indian team left for Dubai on Thursday for the Cricket Asia Cup 2025. Team captain Suryakumar Yadav, head coaches Gautam Gambhir and Hardik Pandya appeared at Mumbai Airport on Thursday.
The tournament will start from 9 September and run till 28 September. India will clash with UAE on 10 September, Pakistan on 14 and Oman on 19. The Asia Cup 2025 has been hosted by India, but due to poor relations between India and Pakistan, it will be played on neutral venue.
India, Pakistan, Oman and UAE are placed in the same group. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong are in Group B. All teams in the group will play 1–1 matches against each other.

If India and Pakistan made it to the Super-4 stage, then both teams will again face face to face on September 21. The final of the tournament will be played on 28 September. If India and Pakistan topped the Super-4 stage, there may also be a third match between the two in the tournament.
