Attack on Sukhbir Badal: A person has been caught outside Darbar Sahib while trying to shoot Akali leader Sukhbir Singh Badal while on duty during the punishment imposed by Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Narayan Singh, the alleged attacker, is said to belong to Joda Dal Khalsa. ADCP Harpal Singh said that the person who attacked Narain Singh had come to offer prayers at Darbar Sahib for the second day in a row and it was already being monitored and the said person was arrested at the time of the attack.
