India’s star badminton player PV Sindhu tied the knot with businessman Venkat Sai Dutta on December 22. The wedding took place at the five-star hotel Raffles in Udaipur, which is located on the Udai Sagar Lake. Many celebrities from sports, politics and film world attended this royal wedding ceremony.
Marriage in Rajasthani style
Sindhu’s wedding celebrations began on December 20 with a musical programme. After this, on 21st December, the ceremony of Haldi, Pelikuthru and Mehndi was completed. The main wedding ceremony was held at three different locations in Udaipur namely Lake Mahal, Leela Mahal and Jag Mandir. Rajasthani royal look was seen in the decoration of the event.
Each guest was taken to the venue by boat. Rajasthani and Mewari dishes were specially arranged for the guests. PV Sindhu wore a cream colored saree, while Venkat Sai Dutta grabbed everyone’s attention in a matching sherwani.

Venkat Sai Dutta is the Executive Director of Posidex Technologies. After the wedding, a reception will be held in Hyderabad on December 24. It is expected to be attended by many personalities from sports, politics and film world.
Sindhu’s performance at the Paris Olympics
This year has been special for Sindhu on both personal and professional fronts. However, her performance at the Paris Olympics was disappointing, where she was eliminated in the round of 16, losing to China’s Bing Zhao. Sindhu will start a new journey after marriage.
