Farmers associated with BKU Chadhuni went on hunger strike at DC office in Barnala. He expressed anger against the central government and supported farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal sitting at Khanauri border.

Farmer leaders Babbu Pandher, Sukhwinder Calcutta and Sukhdev Singh said that their organization Bharatiya Kisan Union (Chadhuni) is conducting a nationwide hunger strike in favor of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal. Under which today they are sitting on hunger strike in Barnala from morning till 5 pm.

Government is not listening to farmers- Pandher
Farmer leader Babbu Pandher said that Jagjit Singh Dallewal is on hunger strike for 25 days regarding the demands of the farmers, but the government is not listening to the farmers. The government is also running away from fulfilling the promise made to the farmers.
He said that Jagjit Singh Dallewal and his colleagues have been marching on the Khanauri border for 10 months demanding the demands of the farmers. No hearing is being given to him by his government. Earlier the government was objecting to farmers carrying tractor trolleys. But now when the farmers were going to Delhi on foot, they are also being tortured.
