Many protesting farmers were taken into custody by the police. In protest against which four farmers climbed the high voltage electricity tower. A large number of police forces have been deployed at the incident site and efforts are being made to bring down the farmers who had climbed the tower. The aggrieved farmers say that they have not been given adequate compensation in exchange for their land and houses, due to which they do not want to leave their land and houses.

On this occasion, the youth Satnam Singh who climbed the tower said that a big road is coming out of his land. They are not being given adequate compensation for land and house. He said that compensation of Rs 65 lakh has been demanded for the land, but it is not being given to us. His house is also coming in the middle of this project, for which he is being given only Rs 60 lakh, whereas Rs 1 crore has been spent in building the house. Due to which he will not allow his land to be encroached upon.

He said that today about a thousand policemen have come to occupy their land, which they will not allow to happen. He told that his companions Jagtar Singh, Jeevan Singh, Sukhpreet Singh and Jaspreet Singh have climbed the tower. If their lands are forcibly taken away, they will not hesitate to sacrifice their lives. For which the administration and government will be responsible.
