Accused caught in the custody of Bathinda Police
Bathinda Police in Punjab has arrested three drug smugglers as part of the campaign against drug smugglers. 5.95 grams of heroin has been recovered from the accused. All three have been sent to jail. One of the arrested accused worked as a commando in Bathinda Police.

SHO Civil Line Kuldeep Singh said that when three youths traveling in a car were stopped on 80 feet road on the basis of suspicion, 5 grams of 95 mg heroin was recovered from the car occupants.
One of the arrested youths also includes Commando Havildar Harjeet Singh, who is a resident of Jujhar Singh Nagar, Bathinda. Apart from this, two other youths have been identified as Manpreet Singh resident of Chandsar Basti Bathinda and Gagandeep Singh resident of Kakhanwali district Muktsar Sahib. A case has been registered against the three youth under various sections. Inquiries are being made as to where the accused youth used to bring these intoxicants.
