That Rs 24 lakh will be given per acre to the farmer.
He had said that whatever expenses will be incurred, we will bear it. This agreement has not been implemented for the last one and a half years. Our friends were sitting there making tents in village Leleana. The police administration uprooted them in the morning. The farmers were caught and their belongings were taken away. Implement the agreement reached with our demands. The Deputy Commissioner who was there at that time is there now.
The government forced us Our demand is that our companions should be released and our belongings should be returned. We should be allowed to go where it is our right. We will go where our land lies under any circumstances. Because the government has forced us, it will be given a befitting reply.
Bathinda Police SP City Narendra Singh said that on the instructions of SSP Sahib, we are on law and order duty. Which is where Gujarat Gas Pipeline is lying. At present the entire work is going on peacefully. If any difficulty arises then there is civil administration. We will hold a meeting with them and find a solution.
