Dead body lying on the railway track in Bathinda
A young man died after being hit by a train in Bathinda, Punjab. The naked body of the youth was found lying on the railway track, after which the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Lakhbir Singh, resident of Khemuana.

Let us tell you that this afternoon Sahara Jan Seva Sanstha had received information that a crushed body of a person was lying on the Bathinda-Ferozepur railway line. After which, when volunteer Sandeep Singh Gill of the social service organization reached the spot, he saw that a naked body of a person was lying on the railway track. He told that the dead body was lying in many parts.
Sandeep Singh immediately informed this to the police station GRP. ASI Tejwinder Singh of police station GRP reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. He said that the deceased has been identified as Lakhbir Singh, son of Balwinder Singh, resident of Khemuana. It is said that the young man was missing since this morning.
