The Board of Control for Cricket in India will not participate at the Asian Council’s annual meeting at Dhaka. The meeting is to be held on July 24 in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
BCCI says that the board cannot attend the meeting there in view of the current situation of Bangladesh. India had demanded ACC President and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi to change the place of meeting, but has not received any reply yet.
According to sources, Mohsin Naqvi is trying to put unnecessary pressure on India. BCCI has clearly stated that no decision can be taken regarding the Asia Cup until the meeting is changed.
