Implementing the recommendations of the National Education Policy 2020, a 4-year course at the graduation level has been introduced in the country. Now after 10 years, 1 year B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) course is also being relaunched with some new conditions. This is a relief news for those going into the teaching line. One Year B.Ed Course Eligibility: Who can do one year B.Ed course?
Only those candidates who have completed 4-year graduation course or post-graduation degree will be considered eligible for one year BEd course (one year BEd course eligibility). The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has also taken several other major decisions regarding teaching courses including 1 year B.Ed in the governing body meeting. NCTE Chairman Prof. Pankaj Arora said that bringing the new rules-2025 of the governing body has also been approved. These new rules will replace the 2014 rules.
Four Year B.Ed Program: 4 year program also got approval

Here students do B.Ed in the subject of their choice. Now it will include special streams like ITEP Yoga Education, ITEP Physical Education, ITEP Sanskrit, ITEP Performing Arts Education. ITEP is a 4-year dual integrated graduation degree course. This degree is offered in BA-B.Ed, B.Com-B.Ed and B.Sc-B.Ed.
