The Punjab government has become very conscious about the health of school children and that is why the Punjab government has issued an order to create Aadhaar ID for all school children in the state.
This decision has been taken under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission. This decision will benefit lakhs of children of the state. Now all the information regarding the health of school children will be available at one place, which will facilitate their health care.
All District Education Officers have been directed to initiate the process of generating Aadhaar ID for children in all schools under their jurisdiction. It will be the responsibility of the school heads to carry out this work smoothly.
