Petrol was being transferred from one tanker to another. Then a tanker exploded. People transferring gas were burnt alive.
Niger’s governor, Mohammed Bago, said in a statement that a massive explosion involving a petrol tanker killed several residents in the Dikko area of the state. Bago said that many people were burned to death. He said that those who were away from the tanker. He escaped injury. He said that this is an unfortunate incident.
Federal Road Safety Corps Sector Commander in Niger State, Kumar Sukum has also filed his statement in this matter. He said that people are being prevented from going near.
