There has been a collision between a tractor-trolley and a bike in Kapurthala. The youth riding the bike has died in the accident. The father said that the accident happened due to the lights of the vehicle coming from the front. The police have handed over the body to the relatives after postmortem.

The accident took place near Rajapur village. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Rajbir Singh, resident of village Rahimpur Nakodar, Jalandhar. The father of the deceased told in his statement to the police that his son was coming towards Kapurthala on a bike.
Tractor not visible due to bright light of vehicle
When he reached near Rajapur village, he could not see the tractor-trolley going ahead due to the bright lights of the vehicle coming from the front and he collided with the tractor-trolley and got seriously injured.
After this, Rajbir died during treatment in the hospital. Police station Sadar took action under various sections on the statements of the father of the deceased, conducted postmortem of the body and handed it over to the family members.
