Calling former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal’s official residence ‘Sheesh Mahal’, the BJP has released a four-minute video of him visiting the civil line bungalow. BJP is diverting people’s attention from important issues: Sisodia
Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has accused the BJP of diverting attention from other important issues, including the recent bomb threat to 40 schools in Delhi. A senior Aam Aadmi Party leader has dismissed the allegations made by Delhi BJP chief Virender Sachdeva regarding Arvind Kejriwal’s former official residence when he was the Chief Minister, terming these allegations as baseless propaganda by the BJP. Mr. Sisodia said that the BJP has no achievements to speak of. He said instead of answering serious questions about the mismanagement of funds for schools, mid-day meals and hospitals in states like Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, they are focusing on Kejriwal’s former official residence. People ask about education and health reforms, they talk about a bungalow. Sisodia accused the BJP of diverting attention from other important issues, including the recent bomb threat in 40 schools in Delhi. He sought Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s response on the deteriorating law and order situation in the national capital. Meanwhile, AAP leader Manish Sisodia along with his wife Seema Sisodia paid obeisance at Angoori Devi temple in New Delhi while starting their election campaign. AAP leader Praveen Kumar Deshmukh called BJP a ‘party of propaganda’. He added that he would never solve issues like law and order or illegal occupations through DDA. Instead, they mislead the public with baseless claims. People are watching and they will respond in the upcoming elections.

A day after relinquishing the Papadarganj seat here, AAP leader Manish Sisodia today kicked off his election campaign by joining locals in recitation of ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ in his new constituency Jangpura. The former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi has claimed to be a ‘Hanuman Bhagat’ in the past. AAP has replaced Sisodia from Padparganj constituency with coaching expert Avadh Ojha, who joined the party recently. It may be mentioned that in the 2020 assembly elections, Sisodia won from Praparganj with great difficulty. Talking to reporters, Mr. Sisodia said that he has got a lot of love from the people as Education Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. He said that it does not matter from which constituency one contests. Even as an MLA and Deputy Chief Minister from Papadarganj, he did a lot of work for Jangpura and personally looked after building a school here. If he is now elected MLA from Jangpura, he will work for the whole of Delhi.
