A case of attempted kidnapping of Mushtaq Khan, known for his work in the Bollywood film ‘Welcome’, has come to light. The kidnappers lured the actor into their trap in a different manner and abducted him. But after being kidnapped for 12 hours, the actor managed to escape.
Narrating the abduction, actor Mushtaq Khan said that he was allegedly invited (lured) on the pretext of attending an award function in Meerut on November 20, but he did not know that it was his. Will become one of the most painful times of life.
This is how the kidnapping was done
The abductors allegedly invited the actor to a function and arranged for his flight tickets, along with transferring an advance payment to his account. When the actor landed in Delhi he was taken to a secluded area near Bijnor, where he was held hostage by his captors for nearly 12 hours. According to the actor, the kidnappers tortured him and demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore. Despite the ordeal, the kidnappers were able to withdraw only Rs 2 lakh from the bank accounts of Khan and his son.

How the actor survived is a story in itself reminiscent of any Hindi film of the 1970s. After hearing the morning call to prayer, he managed to escape. When the senior actor saw that there was a mosque nearby, he took advantage of the situation and ran away. He also sought cooperation from the local residents and with the help of the police, Mushtaq returned home safely. The police have started investigating the incident.
