Bomb threat: Threat of blowing up six schools of Delhi with bombs


New Delhi, December 14

Bomb threat: Six schools here were threatened with bomb blasts today. Officials said that this is the third incident of threatening emails being sent to schools in the national capital this week.

“We received a call about a bomb threat at Delhi Public School, RK Puram at 6:09 am,” said a Delhi Fire Services official. Fire department, local police, dog squad and bomb disposal teams reached the school and launched a search operation, the official said. After this, other schools including Ryan International School in Vasant Kunj and Gian Bharti School in Saket received the bombshell email. A police officer said that nothing suspicious was found after searching and inspecting any of the schools.

It may be mentioned that earlier 30 schools and before that 44 schools had received such emails.
