10-minute delivery apps have made life easier for customers, but for delivery agents, the race against time often comes with unexpected challenges. You never know what they go through to get each order to arrive on time.
Recently, a user on social media platform X, Neha Mulchandani, shared a story that touched millions of hearts. Her Blinkit delivery agent’s electric vehicle (EV) breaks down midway, yet what he does next impresses Neha.
What happens if the Blinkit delivery agent’s EV breaks down
In his post, he said the delivery agent arrived late and explained that his EV had run out of charge, forcing him to drag it to his location. He then asked permission to charge the battery for a few minutes, to which she agreed.
He wrote, “Blinkit guy came late! He told me his EV scooty got discharged in the middle so he has to be dragged! Begged me, ‘Can he charge the battery for a few minutes?'”
Neha further said that the delivery executive sat outside for an hour while his battery was being charged. “After charging, he told me he would pay for the electricity! And I was thinking, “How generous of him to have his heart ready to pay!” He continued.
Before leaving, the delivery agent gave him a milky bar of chocolate to show his gratitude. Neha said. “I have found that people with less means always have more to give!” He concluded the post.

Internet reactions
The delivery executive’s neat work quickly caught the attention of social media users.
“Blinkit can hire you as a brand ambassador and a good PR head,” one person already said.
Another person commented, “That moment speaks volumes about human dignity and grace. Even in adversity, some have a generosity that wealth cannot emulate. It’s humbling to see how the least of all have the richest of hearts. It seems that gratitude stems not from abundance but from compassion and honesty.”
One user wrote, “People who have the least appreciate every little thing – time, help, kindness. That’s why their gratitude feels so pure. A Milky Bar may be small, but the heart behind it is huge.”
“A man like a diamond found another man like a diamond!” written further
“The richest hearts are not measured by wallets, but by warmth,” commented another.

This isn’t the first time a delivery executive has gone the extra mile — literally — and won hearts online. Earlier, a Swiggy delivery agent walked nearly 3 km to deliver an order when he had no vehicle or money to travel.
He further explained that he was a fully educated ECE graduate who had previously worked at Ninjakart and BYJU but lost his job during the COVID-19 pandemic.
