British YouTuber ate chicken in the Iskcon temple! Forgiveness for creating a ruckus, know what is the whole matter

British Youtuber: UK’s YouTuber ‘Cenzo’ has come into controversy due to a video. In the video, he is seen sitting in London -based Govinda restaurant and eating chicken brought from KFC. This restaurant is run by Krishna devotees and is completely vegetarian. Non -vegetarians are strictly prohibited here as it is a place associated with religious beliefs.

Intentionally ignoring the rules?

In the video, Cenzo first asks if you get meat here and when the answer is ‘not’, he starts eating by placing his chicken dish on the table. Not only this, he also offers non -vegetarian food to the people and employees present there. This made the restaurant atmosphere uncomfortable and eventually the employees drove them out.

Anger among people, criticism on social media

The video became increasingly viral on social media and Cenzo was accused of hurting religious sentiments. People called it deliberately insulted and said that it is like making fun of a holy place. Many users also placed it in the category of cultural and racial insensitivity.

YouTuber clarified

After the rising protest, Cenzo publicly apologized and said that he has contacted this restaurant and plans to apologize himself. He admitted that this was his “wrong time, irresponsible” step and he crossed a limit that should not have crossed. Cenzo said, “It was a joke for me, but really it was not a joke.”

Trying to understand religious beliefs

After criticisms on social media, Cenzo said that he did research on the religious values and traditions of ISKCON and Govinda restaurants. He admitted that the beliefs there are based on non-violence life and compassion for animals and birds. Cenzo said that his action was going to hurt that community and he apologizes heartily for this.

Video removed, question on awareness

Although Cenzo says that he was not aware of the religious association of this restaurant, but he was near the ISKCON temple when he shot the video. He described this act as a “wrong manner” and now he has removed the video from his channel.

Prank Culture vs Religious Honor

This incident has once again raised the question whether the ignoring religious and cultural dignities in the name of jokes and content is justified? This video of Cenzo has sparked a new debate on the social responsibility of content creators and the importance of sensitivity in multicultural society.
