BSNL New Plan: Government telecom company BSNL has once again taken a big step. The company has launched a new premium plan for its BITV service which can neutralize the traditional DTH set-top box. Till now BSNL used to provide free Bitv service to its mobile users but more big benefits have been included in the new premium pack. In this, users are getting free subscription of 450+ live TV channels and 25 popular OTT apps.

The company shared the information of this plan on its X (first Twitter) handle. The new BITV premium pack is available in just Rs 151 per month (ie about 5 rupees per day). This includes more than 450 live TV channels, access to 25 premium OTT platforms. These include big names like Sonyliv, Zee5, Shemaroome, Sunnxt, Fancode and ETV WIN. BSNL has described it as an all-in-one entertainment pack.
Cheap packs also launched
Along with the premium pack, BSNL has also introduced two affordable packs:
30 -day 30 -day pack of Rs 28: It has 7 OTT apps and 9 complementary OTT apps.
Pack of Rs 29: There are almost the same benefits in this too, but the list of OTT apps is slightly different. These packs are especially made for users who like regional content.
Why is this plan special?
This new step of BSNL directly challenges the DTH market. While different channels have to be selected in DTH connections, in this plan, users are getting fun of both TV and OTT in the same subscription. In this way, this premium plan of BSNL can become a cheaper and all-in-one solution for Internet TV and OTT audiences.
Jio’s plan of Rs 299
Jio’s Rs 299 plan can be considered as the most value-for-world in comparison. It gets 1.5GB True 5G data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS/day daily for 28 days. Also, it includes three months’ JioCinema Mobile Subscription, which costs Rs 149 alone.
In this plan, you also get free access to JioTV and Jio Aicloud (50GB storage). The speed becomes 64kbps after the data is finished. However, it is important to note that to maintain OTT access, recharge will have to be done within 48 hours of the termination of the plan.
