Brazil road accident- 38 people died in a bus fire in Brazil. 13 people are said to be injured in this accident. The death toll in a road accident in southeastern Brazil’s Minas Gerais state has risen to 38 and 13 others were injured, local officials said, Xinhua news agency reported. People injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
According to the information received, a bus collided with a truck in the Minas Gerais state of South-Eastern Brazil, after which the bus caught fire, due to which 38 people died. It has been reported that a bus was carrying 45 passengers when its tire burst and the driver lost control. After this, the bus collided with the truck coming from the front and it caught fire.
The police officer said that 24 passengers died on the spot in the accident and 13 others were taken to hospitals near the town of Teofilo Otoni. The bus had departed from Sao Paulo and was carrying 45 passengers. Eyewitnesses said that the tire of the bus burst due to which the driver lost control and collided with the truck. Meanwhile, a car also collided with the bus but all the three occupants escaped unhurt. Governor Romeo Zema wrote on X that he has issued orders to the state government to assist the victims.
