ChatGPT: The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer limited to technology or chatting. Recently, some people have claimed that AI tools like CHATGPT played an important role in the identity of their serious diseases, when the doctors also could not make the right diagnosis.
Cancer detection with the help of AI
Lauren Bannon, who hails from America, said that in the beginning of 2024, he started having trouble turning fingers. Doctors described it as ‘rheumatoid arthritis’. After this, he lost severe abdominal pain and about 6 kg in a month. Doctors described it as a problem related to acidity.
But Lauren did not have satisfaction and took opinion from Chatgpt. AI indicated them that it could be “Hashimoto Disease”, an autoimmune disease in which the body’s immune system begins to attack the thyroid gland. However, his doctor rejected this apprehension because no such disease was there before in the family. Despite this, Lauren insisted on the test. Two cancerous lumps were found in the throat on the thyroid ultrasound.
Bannon says that if she used to walk only on the advice of doctors, then the cancer would have spread from the throat to other parts of the body. He clearly said that Chatgpt saved his life.
AI told blood cancer
Apart from this, a 27 -year -old woman from Paris said that in the beginning of 2024, she was having a problem of sweating at night and continuous itching in the skin. The doctors conducted many tests, but no serious illness came to light. When the woman consulted the Chatgpt, AI indicated that it could be blood cancer (blood cancer).
After several months, when the woman started increasing fatigue and chest pain, she again got the doctors tested. A large tumor was found near his lungs in the scan report. He was later diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma (one type of blood cancer). The same disease that AI indicated long ago.
Although AI tools like Chatgpt are not an alternative to medical professionals, they can prove to be a useful help in understanding initial information and potential diseases.
