Dr. Surinder Mand
There are questions in people’s minds that the openness of luring and inciting voters, distribution of drugs, money and other things, electoral system running in the name of religion, superstition and caste, election expenses in crores, misuse of state machinery, government investigation agencies. Partisanism, other parties breaking and leaders intimidation, courts Nissel and judges also under question, Tira Election Commission mixed with the government, adopted the thinking of ‘jis ki lathi ush ki bhans’. How can our Indian ‘democracy’ be turned around when there are many scared and sold media houses, discredited officers occupying the constitutional institutions?
In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, a candidate of Raj Thackeray’s party was shouting that all the votes in the polling booth of his house were lost. The two-time Congress MLA’s village saw 100 percent polling, out of which he did not get a single vote, not even his own. Former Chief Election Commissioner Qureshi was also surprised by the fact that after releasing 58 percent polling figures till five o’clock in the state, the Election Commission announced that 65 percent polling had taken place. Congress won the Nanded Lok Sabha by-election, but out of all the 6 assembly constituencies in it, a quarter of two lakh votes went to the BJP. Congress leader Kharge has left a statement that he will fight to hold elections with ballot paper.
It is an illusion that the positions of Governor, Speaker, President, Judge, Election Commission, SEBI, CBI, Income Tax Department, Job Selection Commission, Deputy Commissioner, Police Officers are not political. ; They are common to all who treat the same or they do not show political bias after being formed but in the present era many of them are dancing naked in favor of their masters, they have thrown off these masks. The government party has washed the milk and only the opposition party is being jailed. This is a worrying situation for democracy.
After electing the Prime Minister, Chief Minister, Minister, MP, MLA, every small and big representative becomes common to all the people, they also take the oath of office. He does not represent his party alone. They should be strictly prohibited from promoting their party during the tenure of such office. How did he become the representative of all the people who spewed venom against other parties round the clock? This is a lie.
Candidates won by any party, if they want to leave the party and change their lives, but their election will be canceled immediately. If you want, contest elections anew. Where is the democracy for anyone to have the legal right to reverse the fatwa of millions of people?
India is a country of 140 crore people. Most of the population speaks so many different languages that if you meet them, you will feel like you have come to another country. People of all religions, castes, languages, cultures, colors, races are living happily. This is an exclusive bouquet in the world. stay safe
We got freedom by making great sacrifices. When the struggle was going on, those people who were doing business with the British government and enjoying the earnings, today, when politics has become a business, the businessmen with such skills have jumped into politics. Jamati Khasa is purely profiteer and self-interested. Political ethics disappeared. Freedom fighter heritage means nothing to them. Aggressive politics in the name of religion is now the only policy. Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be their representative Haraval Dasta.
Look at the ‘development’ of democracy that now political parties do not seem to be different by having different ideologies for the progress of the country but only factions in which active self-interested business elements can join any party without hesitation. Everything is valid to form an election winning government.
BJP has ruled for 15 years out of the last 25 years. The country has progressed so much that currently 85 crore Indians are dependent on 5 kg of government flour. There is illiteracy, unemployment, poverty. The future of workers is dark. The government is refusing to give minimum support price (MSP) of crops to the farmers. Farmers are at the mercy of crocodile traders. Government-sponsored traders are free to rob both farmers and consumers. Youth are yearning for employment. Government and companies have looted the country/world by selling the cheap petrol bought from the world market at a very high price. Depriving the regular army soldiers of their pension for the front, they have made them employees for only four years under the ‘Agni Veer’ scheme. The pension of government employees was stopped only by the Vajpayee government of BJP. About 115 crore Indians do not see the hope of a good future for their children. The capitalist development model is ruining the country’s soil, water, air and natural environment with the help of the government for its profit. India became indebted faster than ever in the last ten years. There is no discussion of how to create industrial development and employment. It is a danger bell for democracy that the ruling party is planning to increase Hindu-Muslim tension for the sake of votes.
Most of the country’s budget now seems to be spent like this: one-third of the budget is paid for loan interest, open gaffes to BJP’s state governments, government departments themselves do all the work through contractors, contractors themselves, government and other religious festivals. Fun, wasteful spending, millions of crores of loans waived off with the help of friends, etc. Secondly, harassing the governments of the opposition parties and forcing them to pay their dues; However, the Center gets all the money from the states.
Among the opposition parties, the Congress is most responsible for this mismanagement of the central government, which is sleeping in its rival states (Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Andhra); In Bihar, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu, it is doing damage by stubbornly demanding more seats than the capacity. It will be difficult if the Congress does not become agile, flexible, wise with vision, constructive, militant. This party is in urgent need of self-examination. Its leaders should leave the rut of ruling for the time being and focus only on change.
The country cannot get out of such a hopeless environment by tweeting like Marichal. Instead of keeping a court tack, all opposition parties, organizations, civil society organizations should form a massive patriotic front and immediately consider starting a mobilization/jail-fill movement on the following issues:
-Elections should be done with ballot paper instead of EVM.
– Guaranteed MSP (Minimum Support Price) of all major crops to the farmers should be enacted.
– The Agniveer scheme brought for the army should be withdrawn.
– The old pension of government employees stopped by the BJP government in 2004 should be restored. Lifetime pension should be given to all elderly widows. Lakhs of vacant government posts should be filled immediately.
-Employment oriented development model should be adopted.
– By closing the contracting system, the government should work through its departments so that employment is created and private looting of the budget is stopped.
– The budget for education and health should be increased.
– Private ownership of natural resources (including mining) should be abolished and nationalized.
– All government institutions sold to Adani should be taken back.
Information should be given on the millions of crores of loans forgiven by rogue business establishments so far.
For such demands, Delhi should arrest at least 500 Jatha daily for Jail Bharro movement. Mobilization should be done in the whole country. From every corner of the country, the processions, dressed in spring colors, came to Delhi, resounding the drums for the sacrifice, holding meetings and rallies. So the political rust is gone. The test will be done. Eka will increase. New cadre and leaders will emerge. All negatives will change. It is absolutely possible.
