Canada News: Ontario’s Peel Police have arrested seven Punjabi youths in the case of shooting twice at a house in Brampton to collect money. Three of them – Manpreet Singh (27), Dilpreet Singh (23) and Harshdeep Singh (23) are alleged to have opened fire at the residence of a businessman near Montanish Road on Montainberry Road at 2 am on November 30. and escaped.
After identifying them with the help of CCTV cameras, during the search of their residence, a gun and bullets were found there, but the accused had escaped from there. The same house was fired again on the night of January 2. The members of the house remained safe in the two shootings, but panic arose in their minds. The second shooting was carried out by the acquaintances of the first suspects, and it became clear that they are members of the same gang after finding evidence from the cameras.
When the police searched his residence after obtaining a search warrant from the court, they also found arms and ammunition from there. The police have also arrested Dharampreet Singh (25), Manpratap Singh (27), Atmjit Singh (30) and Arvinderpal Singh (21) after collecting more evidence. All will be produced in court for further proceedings.
Four of them were already out of jail on bail in such cases, due to which the crime of violation of bail conditions has also been added against them.
It is learned that the house, which was fired upon twice, belongs to a businessman of Indian origin and a ransom was demanded from him, but he ignored it. It is understood that the firing was done to scare him into paying the ransom.
