Canada News: A Punjabi youth was killed yesterday by a person who lived in the same house at Queen’s Road in Sarnia, Ontario, a city bordering the US in the Canadian province of Ontario. Both lived in a rented house. The cause of the incident is said to be a minor dispute between the two regarding some matter.

The deceased youth has been identified as Gurassis Singh (22), who was a resident of Ludhiana and had arrived in Canada a few months ago for higher studies after doing B Tech. After Sarnia Police released the identity of the deceased, it has been reported that 35-year-old murderer Crosley Hunter has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

The police did not reveal the exact reason for the murder, but the charges brought prove that the murder was not done on a whim and it could be the result of a conflict between the two. Neighbors told the police that they had seen the two going together several times. Neighbors who considered both as friends were shocked to hear about the murder.

Gurassis was a student of Lambton College and was pursuing higher studies in engineering. His family came to know about the death of his son from the phone call made to the police. According to the police, there were several deep wounds on the body of Gurassis, which could be from a sharp weapon. The police can also press charges after the medical report.
