Three cases have been registered by the police against 19 persons in connection with fights, quarrels and beatings that took place at different places here. Manish Sharma, a resident of Sita Nagar Jassian Road Haibowal, has told the Salem Tabri police station that Nishant called him to talk at around 9 pm. When he was standing at a grocery store near New Ashok Nagar road, Nishat, Gagan, Sunita Sandhu and two unidentified persons beat him up. When he shouted, they ran away threatening him. Police officer Harmesh Lal has said that the police is taking action by registering a case against five persons. Similarly, Geeta Sidhu, a resident of Shiv Nagar Gyaspura, told the police of Sahnewal police station that three boys were drinking alcohol in a vehicle parked in an empty plot in front of their house. When Pradeep Singh asked them to leave, they ran away threatening him. Next day night, Ajay Pandey, Anmol, Himashu, Karan, Shoki, Athni, Mani Khachra and 6 unidentified boys entered the house by climbing the walls of the house and broke the car I-20, Activa scooter, motorcycle and household items and beat them. Killed and escaped. Thanedar Deep Chand has told that the police is taking action by registering a case against 13 people.
Regarding another case, Dimple Nanda, a resident of Prem Vihar Tibba, has told the police of Tibba that when he opened the door, Niranjan was standing outside working near him. He says that he has come to get Vaneet’s charger. When she went inside to get the charger, Niranjan followed her into the house and attacked her with a pair of scissors with the intention of killing her. He ran away when she shouted. She has told that the reason for this is resentment that she was caught stealing by her husband and fired from work. Thanedar Baljit Singh has told that the police is taking action by registering a case against Kartar Nagar, a resident of Niranjan.
