The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is considering to facilitate the students of ninth and tenth standard to study in two levels (easy and difficult) in science and social science. It has been approved by the CBSE Curriculum Committee but is yet to be approved by the Governing Body. Before this, only students of class 10 are getting this facility in mathematics, under which students can choose one of the studies of mathematics basic and mathematics standard. The aim of CBSE’s initiative is to provide better learning opportunities to students in these two subjects, whereby students will be provided with additional study material in science and social science and they will be given advanced level education through more modern methods. It should also be mentioned that the papers of Basic and Advanced will be different and in Advanced students will be provided with additional information about that subject so that they can acquire knowledge about these subjects in advance in their further studies.
Instructions for practical examinations issued
CBSE has issued instructions for conducting practicals of board classes X and XII. In this regard, the controller of examinations Dr. Sanyam Bharadwaj has issued a letter to schools on December 2. In this, the schools have been asked to complete the practical syllabus within the stipulated time. In this regard, arrangements should be made for school laboratories and others. If there are any defects in this regard then CBSE should be informed.
