 "CBSE Releases Class 10th and 12th Exams Final Datesheet – News-Patiala Punjabi")
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the final date sheet for the 2026 board exams. CBSE class 10th and 12th exams will start from February 17, 2026.
The Class 10 exams will be held from February 17 to March 10, 2026, and the Class 12 exams will be held from February 17 to April 9, 2026. All examinations will be held from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM or 1:30 PM, as per the subject.
The 10th class board exams will be held twice a year
CBSE has announced that from the 2026 session, the Class 10 board exams will be held twice a year, as recommended in the New Education Policy (NEP 2020).
The board first released a tentative datesheet of September 24, 2025, to allow students and schools to prepare in advance. Now that all the schools have sent their subject combination data, the final datesheet has been released 110 days before the exam.
