The Cyber Security Agency of the Government of India, Cert-in (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) has issued a high-risk security alert. The agency has clearly stated that some dangerous flaws have been found in Chrome and Android, taking advantage of which hackers can attack your device.
Danger bell for chrome users
CERT-in reported that some versions of the Google Chrome browser running on Windows, Mac and Linux have serious vulnerability. Because of these flaws, a hacker can send you to a special website and run a dangerous code on your computer. From this:
- Your system may be hacked
- Your personal information can be stolen
- The system can stop working by crashing

- Linux: Before version 137.0.7151.55
- Windows and Mac: Before version 137.0.7151.55/56

Cert-in has also issued an alert for mobile phones running on Android 13, 14 and 15. According to the report, many parts of the Android system such as Framework, Android Runtime, System, Google Play, and Components of Hardware Companies (eg Qualcomm and ARM) have been found.
