Prasar Bharati All India Radio created panic when news of bomb was found in Chandigarh. After receiving the information, police station, operation cell and bomb detection team reached the spot. Teams conducted search operations in the entire building.

During the investigation, all the staff were safely evacuated from the building. However, the police did not recover any bomb. But a suspicious object was recovered, which was taken into custody by the police. After the entire operation, the police said that a mock drill was conducted for security reasons.
