A 21-year-old youth living in Sector 24, Chandigarh, ended his life by hanging himself. Sector 11 police station took the body into custody and kept it in the mortuary of Sector 16 hospital for postmortem. The deceased has been identified as Ankush. his father in Chandigarh

The incident happened on Sunday morning. The relatives of the deceased received information from the police that a youth had hanged himself in a government house in Sector 24. After which Ankush was taken out of the noose and admitted to Sector 16 Hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. The police is investigating the case. Police have not recovered any suicide note from the spot.
