The victim was going on a bicycle
According to the information, the complainant Mohammad Jashin, resident of Bad Majra Phase-6, Mohali Sector-43, was returning to his home on a bicycle on December 1 after finishing his duty. As soon as he reached the cycle track in front of Kajhedi village, two youths riding on a black motorcycle from behind snatched his Vivo mobile phone and ran away.
Police put a block on secret information
On receiving secret information, police set up a naka near D-Park of Sector-52. While passing by, the police stopped the suspicious motorcycle and caught both the accused. The accused have been identified as Govind, resident of village Kajheri Sector-52, Chandigarh and Vivek, resident of village Kajheri Sector-52, Chandigarh. The police have recovered the mobile phone and the bike used in the crime.
