In North India today there was rain in many places and Chandigarh also received rain in the evening due to which the cold is likely to increase in the coming days.
According to the information, this evening there is news of light traffic only in some sectors of Chandigarh. It is also known that it rained for some time in Sector 47 while it rained for some time in Sector 29. Apart from this, it was cloudy in the evening in Mohali but there are no reports of rain. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department of Chandigarh has forecast cold winds in the next two days. Apart from this, the Indian Meteorological Department has also forecast two days of rain in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR as a western disturbance. The Meteorological Department has said that a cold wave will prevail in most parts of North India from December 9.
IMD scientist Naresh Kumar said that the temperature will decrease in Delhi-NCR after December 9.
It will occur as a Western Disturbance over central Pakistan and its surrounding areas. Apart from this, there is also a possibility of snowfall in the higher regions of Himachal Pradesh.
