A big case of fraud in the name of providing visa facility has come to light in Chandigarh. Identification of the accused and method of fraud

It has been alleged in the complaint that the accused Manpreet Singh alias Monty and Rajbir alias Rosie, both residents of Sector-17, Chandigarh, promised them visa facility and job abroad. For this, both of them claimed to be competent by taking fake company names and extorted huge amount of money to start the visa process. According to the complainant, the accused took Rs 28,31,232 in the name of various fees and procedures, but did not complete the visa process.

Police registered a case and started investigation

After receiving the complaint, the police took immediate action and registered a case against both the accused. Police say that there is a possibility of involvement of a big gang behind this fraud. The investigation of the case has been handed over to a DSP level officer and the activities of the accused are being thoroughly investigated.
