Mumbai. Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan recently called TV and social media star Jannat Zubair in her podcast show. In this episode, both the actresses shared their views ranging from light topics to some serious topics, like the digital world, the pressure of social media and its impact on today’s generation. While Soha asked the questions very simply, Jannat also answered those questions intelligently. Soha asked Jannat a question related to the digital world, which is the app that she would wish had never been made. On this, Jannat said without any hesitation that she would wish that ‘random beauty filter apps’ had never been made.

Jannat Zubair said, “Such apps create an unrealistic definition of beauty among the youth and this can be mentally dangerous. Today’s young generation starts comparing themselves with fake beauty because of these filters, which has a negative impact on self-confidence. It is not bad to edit the photo a little. If there are blemishes in a photo or the face looks a little tired, then light editing can be done. But when people change their entire appearance, the lips can be edited. If we make the eyes big, the jaw thin and the face completely different, then it is not right. Doing this not only creates the illusion of false beauty, but also starts moving away from the reality.”
