Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will reach Abohar tomorrow on December 5 and will inaugurate the water works built on Hanumangarh Road. Aam Aadmi Party’s Abohar constituency in-charge and former MLA Arun Narang held a press conference at his residence today in this regard. On this occasion, he said that there were many difficulties in completing the water works on Hanumangarh Road. There were many hurdles in completing the project, but he met Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the Municipal Corporation officials and cleared these hurdles. MLA Mr. Narang said that earlier the city’s population of around two lakhs was getting 5 MGD of water, which was half of the requirement. Even in that, water could not reach the high residential areas, but after the completion of this project, the people of the entire city will be able to get clean drinking water every day. He said that the 98 km long pipeline has been extended to 250 km to complete this project. The biggest obstacle in the completion of this water works project was the extension of the power line, but due to the negligence of the corporation, the project remained incomplete due to non-payment of the Powercom bill, which they have now met with the officials of the concerned departments. has completed
