In the schools of UAE (United Arab Emirates), children will now be taught Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI. The most interesting thing is that this study will start with the children of Kindergarden. That is, from the age of four, children will be familiar with high technology like AI.
This decision has been taken by the ruler of Dubai and Vice President of the country Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum. He told on social media that from the year 2026, AI will be taught as a regular subject in all government schools of the country.
How will AI’s course be for children?
AI course has been prepared in different ways according to age. It will include games, visual activities and interactive learning for young children. With this, children will understand the technique in sports and games.
As the children grow older, they will be taught things like differences in machine and human beings, digital thinking, algorithms, data, bias and AI’s impact on society. In the last phase, students will make AI project themselves and learn to work on the problems of real life.
Why this decision was taken?
Vice President and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said, ‘We want to prepare our children for a future which will be completely different from today. AI is the most important technique of the coming time and we have to prepare children from now on. ‘
He also said that it will not be limited to technical knowledge, but children will also be told about the moral aspects of AI. So that they learn to use technology correctly and responsibly.
who will teach AI?
Specially trained teachers will be kept to teach AI. They will be given a guide and complete lesson plan by the Ministry of Education of UAE so that children can understand it correctly.
Will private schools also come to AI?
At present, this scheme will be implemented only in government schools. No official information has been given yet to include AI in private schools.
This step of UAE is a big example of preparation for the coming time. While AI is being taught at college or professional level in other countries, UAE has decided to start it from nursery. Now it has to be seen what steps the rest of the countries also take in this direction.
