According to a TOI report, the MND said in its statement that the operation of seven Chinese military aircraft and five naval aircraft was reported in the Taiwan area on Saturday morning. “Seven PLA aircraft and five PLAN aircraft were seen operating around Taiwan as of 6am (UTC+8) today,” MND said in a post on Twitter. One of these aircraft crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s Northern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). We have monitored the situation and reacted accordingly.”

Tension between China and Taiwan increased in recent days
This is a sign of increased Chinese military activity in the region following reports of similar operations in the past. On Friday, Taiwan’s MND reported the presence of five Chinese ships and five naval vessels. And on Thursday, five PLAN aircraft were also seen operating near the island. The Taiwan Strait remains a focal point of geopolitical tensions. Japan, Taiwan’s closest neighbor and key ally, has expressed concern over increased military activity in the region. Japanese Foreign Minister Iwaya Takeshi in a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Wednesday reiterated the importance of peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait as well as its important role in regional and global security.

China claims Taiwan
Democracy is currently restored in Taiwan, China has long claimed this peaceful country. While the Taiwan government has been rejecting this claim of China. China wants to subjugate Taiwan and rule over it. At the same time, Taiwan takes arms from the US to strengthen itself. Taiwan’s purpose is to protect itself from China’s aggression. It is worth mentioning that China considers Taiwan to be a separate state. China also says that one day it will merge Taiwan into China, Taiwan will have to come under China one day.
