The bus carrying devotees from Amritsar to Himachal fell into a ditch.
The bus of devotees who had gone from Amritsar in Punjab to Chintpurni located in Una district of Himachal Pradesh to have darshan of Mata met with an accident on Sunday morning. The Seva Mandali bus from Amritsar had reached Chintpurni with the devotees. Local people said that this accident happened on Sunday. No devotee was present in the bus when the incident occurred. Due to which a major accident was averted. Bus driver Pradeep Singh told that he had brought about 35 devotees from Amritsar in the bus.

Driver Pradeep told that after dropping all the devotees on the main road of the temple, he took the bus to Chintpurni bypass. Started backing the bus on the road. Meanwhile suddenly a car came from ahead. During this, he applied brakes to stop the bus, but the brakes did not apply and the bus fell backwards into the ditch.
