Commencement of development works in Cheema and Longowal

Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora launched various pro-people development projects in Cheema and Longowal. He said that to meet the needs of the residents of Halka Sunam Udham Singh Wala, they are making full efforts and funds are being released for serial development works keeping in mind each and every need of the citizens.

The Cabinet Minister laid the foundation stone of the newly constructed library to promote book culture at Cheema. He said that books are the friend of the reader of every age group, along with providing life guidance to children and youth, with whom one should share a relationship. He said that soon it will be ready as a library. On this occasion, he also started the construction work of shed and floor of Dharamshala, stage and shed in the school ground and street lights project. Earlier last evening, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora also started the work of fencing the cemetery at Longowal at a cost of 21 lakh rupees. At Cheema, Executive Officers Bal Krishan, Birbal Singh, Darshan Singh Gitiman, Chairman, Kuldeep Sidhu, Major Singh, while at Longowal, Parminder Kaur Brar, President Municipal Council, Raj Singh Raju, Vicky Vashisht Block President, Gurjant Khan etc. were present.
