Employees Predicted Association (EPFO) has directed all the employers to activate the universal account number (UAN) and link to the bank account. This process is required to take advantage of the Employment-Linked Inner (EELI). Owners have advised to update the details of all their employees, which is beginning to get the benefits of the plan to be achieved in time. Employees can activate UAN acts and linking it to a base.
The ELI scheme was launched in the Union Budduration of 2024 by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitra. Its purpose is to enhance employment and encourage companies to appoint new employees. This scheme is divided into three parts.
Scheme A: Companies with new graduates will be subsidized by Rs 15,000, which will be given in three installments.
Scheme B: This is a special plan for the construction area, under which companies will get Rs 3,000 per person per month for two years on new recruitment.

The way to activate Uan
Visit the EPFO portal: https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/
Click on ‘Activate UAN’ and enter the mobile number linked to the UAAN number, base number, date of birth and base.
Confirm and generate the password through OPT.
