Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the creator of the Constitution. On the invitation of the Left parties, a protest was held here today against the remarks made in the Parliament about Bhim Rao Ambedkar. CPI (M) leaders and workers gathered at the local Channan Singh Dhoot Bhawan, from where they marched to the bus stand and Dr. Effigy of Home Minister Amit Shah blown up in front of Bhimrao Ambedkar’s monument. On this occasion, CPI (M) state committee members Gurmesh Singh, Unkar Singh, Labor Party president Jai Gopal Dhiman and CITU leader Dhanpat Bassi Daulat Khan opposed Amit Shah for using insulting words against Ambedkar. He appealed to the left and secular parties to unite and protect the constitution.
