Cricket Test: India’s first innings was limited to 180 runs

In response, Australia scored 24 runs with the loss of one wicket. Jasprit Bumrah got the first wicket for the Indian team. He got Khawaja caught out by Rohit Sharma at slip for 13 runs. Before this, in the day-night Test match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first, but the Indian players could not play. Australia’s fast bowler Mitchell Starc took 6 wickets for 48 runs by bowling brilliantly.

The Indian team had a bad start and Yashasvi Jaiswal got out in the first ball of the match. After this, KL Rahul (37 runs) and Shubman Gill (31 runs) took over the innings. Both shared a partnership of 69 runs for the second wicket but Virat Kohli 7, Rishabh Pant 21, captain Rohit Sharma got out after scoring 3 runs. Ravichandran Ashivaan played an innings of 22 runs and Nitish Reddy brought the team’s score to 180 with 42 runs. Mitchell Starc took six wickets while Pat Cummins and Stock Boland took two wickets each.
