Even after the end of Windows 10 support, Microsoft will continue to give security updates to its defender Antivirus till October 2028. With this help, users working on Windows 10 will continue to get the basic level protection. Apart from this, Microsoft has also announced the Extension Security Updates (ESU) program. From October 15, users will be able to subscribe to it. Through this, users will be able to get free windows backup or can get one year coverage by giving $ 30 (about Rs 2,650). This will give them protection by October next year. The ESU program for businesses is priced at $ 61 (about 5400 rupees). It can be renewed for three years.
Due to this, users trapped in trouble
American consumer organization consumer reports say that several lakh people are using devices that cannot be upgraded to Windows 11. In such a situation, the risk of cyber attacks on these people will increase when the support of Windows 10 is over. Reports say that till August this year, more than 46 percent of users of the world are using Windows 10. Most of these systems are not able to meet the needs of Windows 11.
