Patdaran, 2nd December
The hunger strike of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is on a fast to meet the demands accepted by the central government, continued on the seventh day today. Dallewal’s health is continuously deteriorating. According to the team of doctors, he has lost about 8 kg weight so far. Dallewal, who is suffering from cancer, is not even taking medication due to which his health is steadily deteriorating. The doctors taking care of them are also worried, but the farmer’s leader is upbeat. The farmer leader says that death will come one day, how good it would be if he would leave this world while saving the farmers. Meanwhile, the farmers’ leaders managing the border say that as Dallewal’s health is deteriorating, the guard is being tightened. They fear that the government can pick up Dallewal at any time on the pretext of ill health.
